Firstly, I would like you introduced my self, my name is Raveena and I am currently diagnosed with celiac disease. Celiac disease is autoimmune disease that occurs in genetically predisposed people when the ingestion of gluten leads to damage in the small intestine. This attack can happen with a protein found in wheat, rye and barley. (Define found on google). Overall, when someone who has celiac consumes gluten is can be very painful with stomach pains that last a number of months.

I discovered that I had celiac in 2014 around March time, where I was diagnosed by the doctors after a long time from being very ill and sick, as the doctors didn’t discover that I had an intolerance to gluten until later on.

I wanna take this opportunity to create awareness and a guide for any new celiac members joining our community, with all the experiences that I have had these past few years. This is something that I would have liked to have when I was first diagnosed.
